INFORMATION
GENERAL
USE
BGI-SCG is a conductive ink formulated with silver-coated copper particles and epoxy-reactive graphene.
- Compared to the copper-based BGI-GCE, BGI-SCG utilizes silver-coated copper-based ink to deliver superior electrical conductivity, achieving a cured film resistance comparable to that of silver epoxy paste.
- The epoxy-reactive graphene, synthesized via BG’s proprietary UCMG technology, exhibits excellent compatibility with both metals and resins within the ink matrix, thereby simultaneously enhancing both electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of the printed ink.
- Functionalized graphene (UCMG) actively participates in the epoxy curing process, enhancing interfacial bonding strength post-printing.
- Furthermore, the graphene within the ink controls rheological behavior, contributing to structural shape retention after printing.
- Incorporating functionalized graphene with intrinsic barrier properties against oxygen and moisture effectively inhibits oxidation of the underlying copper surface, significantly enhancing long-term reliability for electronic component applications.
- These outstanding barrier properties suppress resistance degradation caused by metal surface oxidation, even during curing processes conducted under ambient atmospheric conditions.
- Graphene and metal content, viscosity, and corresponding electrical resistance levels can be customized according to specific user requirements.
APPLICATIONS
- Printable conductive ink
- EMI shielding, ESD coating
- Electrode or Additives for RFID, OLED, Flexible display, Battery (LiB, Supercapacitor) or Passive components (MLCC, Power Inductor)
